Heading Home tags along on the journey of a group of Jewish major league baseball players representing Israel in the 2017 World Baseball Classic.

Their line-up included several Jewish American major league players, including former Tiger Josh Zeid. Most of the players had a tenuous relationship to Judaism, and never had set foot in Israel. Their odyssey takes them from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, where they are greeted as heroes, to Seoul where they must debunk their has-been reputations.
