In the early 1940s, refugees from all over Europe sought shelter in southwest France. Among them, there were countless women, some pregnant, and their young children. Red Cross nurse Elisabeth Eidenbenz transformed an old villa into a birth clinic, saving mothers and children from certain death. Based on true events, this is the inspiring story of Eidenbenz, who saved almost 600 infants during World War II.
